Yoga for me has always been an outlet. I first came to yoga 11 years ago when I was pregnant with my first child. I was looking for a way to comfort the typical aches and pains of pregnancy. With one small movement I was hooked. A few years later, after my second child was born, I experienced postpartum anxiety and  depression. I had maintained my practice throughout the years but now I sought to add meditation in hopes to gain further relief. Yoga and meditation took on a whole different role in my life, one of much more importance than simply a strength training routine. Through regular practice and breathing techniques I have been able to manage my mental health, tools that have been invaluable. I hope to continue gaining more knowledge and insight about myself through my work and trainings as I continue to utilize these valuable tools off my mat and into my daily life.

I'm a Yoga Instructor, Functional Movement Specialist and Thai Yoga Massage Practitioner. My teachings encourage others to listen to the wisdom of their body by meeting their individual needs in order to move towards self-acceptance and individual growth in a non-self judgmental way. I teach a variety of yoga classes, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) tools and breathing exercises to help manage a diversity of ailments such as daily stress, anxiety or illness.

My mission is to inspire people to experience their interconnection with all of life and within themselves. Through sharing my writing and movement practices, I am here to help others become more aware and self accepting while applying these self care tools throughout the journey of everyday life.
